Privacy Policy

The short version: Our apps — Epicnome and Epicjambox — don't track you, profile you, or sell your data, because we don't collect it. They're paid apps on the App Store and Google Play; Apple and Google handle the purchase, so we never see your name, email, or payment details. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no third-party trackers. Epicjambox runs fully offline — it makes no internet connections at all.

What we collect

We don't collect any personal information. Neither Epicnome nor Epicjambox has accounts, sign-up, or login — we never ask for your name or email.

Your purchase is processed entirely by the App Store or Google Play. Apple and Google handle payment and never share your card details or email with us; we only ever see anonymous, aggregated sales totals. Their handling of your data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.

What's stored on your device (not on our servers)

Your app settings — tempo, key, selected feels and EPIC skin — and any songs you build.
Nothing else, and nothing that identifies you.

This stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it at any time by deleting the app.

Who we share data with

Apple and Google — distribute the app and process your purchase under their own privacy policies.
Our hosting provider — hosts this marketing website (epicnome.com) and the small server that powers Epicnome's AI chord auto-fill. Like any web host, it may keep standard server logs such as IP addresses; we don't use these to track or identify you. (Epicjambox is fully offline and never connects to it.)
A third-party AI service — only if you use Epicnome's AI chord auto-fill (see below). Processes the song title you type to generate chords, under that provider's API terms; inputs are not used to train AI models.

That's it. We do not share, sell, or rent your data to anyone else. The apps themselves contain no analytics, advertising networks, or tracking pixels. Epicjambox makes no network requests at all — everything it does runs entirely on your device.

Microphone access (Epicnome only)

Epicnome's built-in guitar tuner requires microphone access. Audio is processed entirely on your device in real time and is never recorded, transmitted, or stored. Microphone access is only active while the tuner is open. Epicjambox does not use the microphone at all.

AI chord auto-fill — Epicnome only (optional)

In Epicnome, the custom-song builder includes an optional AI auto-fill: type a song title and we generate its chord progression for you. When you use it, only the title you type is sent to our server and a third-party AI service to look up the chords. We don't store the title, attach it to your device, or build any profile from it — it's used once to answer that request and nothing more. If you never use the feature, nothing leaves your device. Epicjambox has no AI features and makes no network requests — its chord generation runs entirely on your device, offline.

Data retention

Because we don't collect personal information, there's nothing for us to retain or delete. Your purchase record is held by Apple or Google, and your app data lives only on your device.

Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights

We hold no personal data about you, so there's nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. For purchase data, contact Apple or Google directly. You're always welcome to reach us with any privacy question at epicnomestudio@gmail.com.
